At least six people were killed and dozens injured in a blaze Saturday at a waste treatment plant in the industrial city of Jubail, eastern Saudi Arabia.
“A fire broke out in one of the tanks containing benzene and diesel mixture at Environment Development Limited Company in ‘Industrial Jubail 2‘,” said Col. Ali al-Qahtani, spokesman of the Civil Defense. He told the Saudi Press Agency that the fire broke out at 10:30am local time and that six foreign workers have died in the incident
